Simple days
When I would sit up a ndare tree
Throw down black, green and red berries
And watch my kalongolongo playmates
Plummet, bite and pinch eyes
Graze bottoms and thighs
For the sweet and sour spoils
Simple days
When I was queen
Sitted on a high and mighty throne
Queen Untorn Yet,
"Jolly, my subjects!
If the berries be not enough,
Eat, eat the dirt"

Calmly reflective and, in turn, thought-provoking.
